At Ledholo, we&#039;ve been working for years to perfectly reproduce reality in the form of holograms, but to achieve an even more immersive experience, impeccable sound quality is essential. We decided to test Bluetooth speakers compatible with our holograms to see which device best complements our holographic projectors.\r\n<h2>Experiment locations and participants<\/h2>\r\nThe tests took place at two locations: our showroom in Warsaw and our office in Szczecin. We invited both our current and potential customers, as well as friends interested in modern technologies, to participate. Their opinions were crucial to us, because it is the users of the technology who decide which features are most important to them.\r\n\r\nDuring their visit to the Showroom, participants had the opportunity not only to view top-quality holographic images but also to experience the sound that complements them. For the tests, we used <a href=\"https:\/\/ledholo.com\/en\/\">holographic projector<\/a> Ledholo MatrixX 1.3NC.72, which generated the image of the character and its voice was transmitted via three different Bluetooth speaker models: BOSE, JBL and TONSIL.\r\n<h2>Test methodology<\/h2>\r\nTo ensure the objectivity of the research, we prepared precise questions regarding various sound parameters. Participants assessed:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>sound clarity \u2013 whether the voice generated by the hologram was clear, natural and free from interference,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>bass quality \u2013 were the low tones well balanced and did not overwhelm the entire sound spectrum,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>balance of mid-range and high tones \u2013 whether the speech was natural and whether details were clearly audible,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>sound spatiality \u2013 did the sound seem enveloping and realistic,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>sound quality at different volume levels \u2013 whether there was any distortion,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>overall impressions and preferences \u2013 which speaker sounded best according to the participant.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nEach tested loudspeaker was evaluated under identical acoustic conditions, and participants had the opportunity to compare the sound side by side to ensure their ratings were as accurate as possible.\r\n<h2>Test results<\/h2>\r\nAfter collecting all the reviews, it turned out that the highest-rated speaker was the BOSE model. Participants praised it primarily for:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>extremely clear and natural sound,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>well-balanced bass and treble,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>excellent sound quality regardless of the volume level,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>spatiality of the sound, which made the hologram seem more realistic.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nThe JBL, despite its good dynamics and strong bass, was considered less precise in the midrange, which could affect the intelligibility of the hologram&#039;s speech. Meanwhile, the TONSIL won praise for its natural sound but fared slightly less well in terms of spatiality.\r\n<h3>Conclusions and further plans<\/h3>\r\nOur study confirmed that sound quality is crucial to the experience of holographic presentations and communication. Choosing the right speaker can significantly impact the sense of realism and the quality of interaction with the hologram.\r\n\r\nBased on the results of the experiment, we will recommend BOSE speakers to our clients as the optimal choice for our holographic projectors.
