CHALLENGE
In 2024, U.S. embassies around the world organized events to mark the 248th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. In Warsaw, the event took place at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence and brought together nearly 2,000 representatives from the worlds of politics, business, academia, the media, and diplomacy.
The theme of the ceremony was „Silicon Bridges: Embracing Tomorrow’s Technologies,” highlighting the importance of technological cooperation between Poland and the United States. The event was attended by, among others, companies that are global leaders in innovation, such as Google, Meta, and Microsoft.
With such a large number of guests, the organizers faced an unusual challenge. How could they ensure that every participant received a personal greeting from the U.S. Ambassador without tying him up for hours solely at the entrance area? The solution had to be consistent with the technological nature of the event while also representing the highest level of quality and prestige.
SOLUTION
The solution to this challenge was the creation of a hologram of the U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Marek Brzeziński, who greeted guests as they entered the residence.
The project utilized one of LEDHOLO Human’s flagship solutions, based on the LEDHOLO MatrixX 1.3NC.72 holographic display and the BOSE S1 Pro+ professional sound system. A special video recording of the Ambassador was prepared for the project, which was then subjected to advanced processing to achieve a realistic holographic effect of the figure’s presence.
The hologram not only invited participants to take part in the event, but also presented key information about Polish-American cooperation and the central theme of this year’s celebrations. This gave every guest the opportunity to experience a modern form of communication even before entering the main part of the event.
RESULT
The hologram of Ambassador Marek Brzeziński became one of the most talked-about elements of the entire ceremony. For many attendees, it was their first direct encounter with such an advanced form of holographic presentation, which evoked genuine surprise and interest.
The installation fit perfectly with the theme of the event, which focused on future technologies. The hologram not only effectively streamlined the process of welcoming nearly two thousand guests but also created a unique experience that highlighted the innovative nature of American diplomacy and technological cooperation between the U.S. and Poland.
Participants were eager to stop by the installation, take photos, and record videos that they later posted on social media. The holographic ambassador became a natural focal point and one of the symbols of the entire event.
The project for the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw demonstrated that LEDHOLO technology can effectively support the organization of high-profile events by combining representational, communicative, and image-building functions. In this case, the hologram was not merely an attractive technological addition, but became an integral part of the participants’ experience, perfectly reflecting the concept of an event dedicated to the technologies of tomorrow.
