CHALLENGE

Developing new holographic solutions requires not only creativity but also the ability to verify them quickly and accurately. Every design for a custom housing, 3D animation, or material prepared for clients must be thoroughly analyzed before implementation.

For a long time, the design process relied on traditional computer monitors, screens, and 2D projectors. Although these solutions allowed for the evaluation of basic design concepts, they were unable to fully replicate the final effect achieved on holographic displays. For more advanced projects, this required a great deal of spatial imagination and repeated revisions.

The challenge, therefore, was to create a work environment that would allow designers, graphic artists, and engineers to evaluate the results of their work in a realistic holographic form as early as the design phase.

SOLUTION

In response to these needs, an in-house design and testing station was created based on the LEDHOLO BOX 110NX BC SET, which is equipped with an HDMI connector. This solution allows the display to be connected directly to a computer and enables the presentation of holographic content in real time.

Using OBS Studio software and a standard HDMI connection, it’s now possible to instantly test 3D animations, enclosure designs, marketing materials, user interfaces, and new product concepts. Designers can see the final result exactly as the customer will see it later.

This approach significantly shortened the design process, reduced the number of revisions, and allowed us to refine the details of the solutions we were developing even more effectively.

RESULT

The implementation of an in-house holographic workstation has completely transformed the way the LEDHOLO design team works. The ability to view three-dimensional objects suspended in space allows for a much faster assessment of proportions, clarity, animation dynamics, and the final visual effect.

Compared to traditional monitors and 2D screens, the perception of spatial objects is significantly more natural and intuitive. This has made it possible to make design decisions more quickly and eliminate errors more effectively even before the implementation phase.

The project achieved all of its objectives. The internal use of LEDHOLO technology not only improved the team’s working conditions but also accelerated the development of new products and solutions that are subsequently delivered to customers in Poland and on international markets.

This project is the best proof that holographic technology can serve not only as a tool for presentation and communication, but also as an effective support for design and research and development processes, as well as for the day-to-day work of teams creating innovative solutions.
