CHALLENGE
Lagardère Travel Retail is one of the largest retail operators in Poland, managing a network of approximately 1,000 retail locations operating under nearly 40 brands, including Inmedio, Relay, So Coffee, 1Minute Smacznego!, and Aelia Duty Free. The company serves millions of customers annually at high-traffic locations such as airports, train stations, subway stations, and shopping centers.
In the case of the Inmedio store located in the Janki Shopping Center, a question arose that many retail operators are asking themselves today: How can we effectively attract customers’ attention in a space overflowing with advertising messages? Traditional screens and promotional materials are increasingly going unnoticed by audiences who are bombarded with hundreds of marketing messages every day.
The goal of the project was to increase interest in selected supplier offerings, attract more customers to the store, and create a modern shopping experience that sets the Inmedio brand apart from the competition.
SOLUTION
To effectively highlight the sales area, the decision was made to implement LEDHOLO holographic technology. The project utilized LEDHOLO MatrixX 1.3NC.72 and LEDHOLO Eye 70ND displays, along with dedicated Wall Mounting Sets.
For this project, a series of holographic 3D animations was created to showcase selected products, promotions, and marketing messages from business partners. The three-dimensional images suspended in space effectively stood out from traditional advertising media, attracting customers’ attention even from a distance.
The use of various types of displays made it possible to create an attractive and dynamic communication space that naturally drew visitors’ attention to the featured products and offers.
RESULT
The implementation of holographic technology was very well received by customers visiting the Inmedio store. The holographic 3D animations effectively caught the attention of passersby, sparking their interest and encouraging them to enter the store.
Customers stopped at the holographic displays, watched the content being presented, and were more likely to explore the promoted offer. This resulted in an increase in the number of visitors to the store, greater interest in the products on display, and improved effectiveness of in-store marketing efforts.
The project’s success led the Inmedio brand to decide to continue using LEDHOLO technology. One of the next steps was the implementation of the LEDHOLO BOX 80NX holographic display in the chain’s flagship store at Warsaw Chopin Airport, one of the most prestigious retail locations in Poland.
The project for Lagardère Travel Retail confirmed that holographic visual communication can effectively boost the effectiveness of marketing efforts in the retail sector. By combining innovative technology, engaging 3D content, and a well-designed display, it is possible not only to attract customers’ attention but also to tangibly boost sales and build a modern brand image.
